About The Event

This is a special event that will have lasting power in memories -we have 12 spots (6 parent/child pairs) available for this small group experience. Minimum age is 8- we feel this minimum age is best for the activities involved, but know that there is no maximum age for child too :) The event is rain or shine. Gear lists will be sent to everyone once they have registered. We can provide tents to those that do not have their own. Fresh potable water and washroom facilities are onsite.

Ticket price includes:

- All experiences, materials and instruction for activities outlined below.

-A delicious catered lunch, dinner and breakfast.

Tentative outline of event :

Saturday

10-10:30am: arrival and introductions

10:30-noon: Meet the “Range”- introduce yourself to the farm animals, hike on the trails to the woods and use the map to discover your camping spot.

Noon-1pm: Enjoy delicious boxed lunch made by Goose and Gander Kitchen while you take time to set up your camp.

1 pm-3:30pm: Meet the Herd: Horse Connection Exercise with Bridget Ryan.

a) Meditation b) Meet the Herd c) Reflective Grooming d) Group discussion/observations/learning from the horses

*Participants will be provided with a journal and markers

3:30-4pm: Break

4pm-5:00pm: Wild Foraging for additions to dinner

Pre-supper break

5:30: Snacks and fire-starting demo and challenge

6:00- 8:00pm: Cooking on the Range—Emily and Stephen of Goose & Gander will demonstrate the art and skill of cooking over an open fire and will give you some great recipes and ideas for future fresh air adventures.

8:30pm: Clean up after dinner

9:00pm: Campfire with Storytelling or maybe some singing talent.

10:00pm: To your Tents! Star watching, Giggling, More one to one story telling….

Sunday

8am: Campfire Coffee is percolating and hot chocolate too !!

8:30/9am: Breakfast is on! Goose and Gander will dazzle you with their skillet grub, made with Wildflower Farm eggs and Tenth line syrup.

10am-12 noon: Map making and Camping Hacks with Heather

12-1pm: Group wrap-up and camp take down.

    This ticket price is for 2. It includes lunch, dinner, and breakfast. All activities (materials and instruction) outlined in the schedule of events. We will also be taking photographs of families and providing you with digital copies as a souvenir.
